The 32nd Annual Producers Guild Awards
Based in Los Angeles, California, Jon Aubrey Divens is an experienced film and TV producer who has produced notable projects including Blade, Blade II, and Teenage Paparazzo. He has been affiliated with Rocket Media, Inc., since 2010. Complementing his experience, Jon A. Divens holds membership with the Producers Guild of America (PGA).
Nomadland and The Crown were among the big winners at the 32nd Annual Producers Guild Awards held virtually on March 24. The winner of the PGA’s Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures has gone on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture in 21 of the past 32 years, including this year. Nomadland, starring Frances McDormand, won both awards. The Crown, meanwhile, was selected as winner of the Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television — Drama.
Other major award winners included Schitt’s Creek (Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television — Comedy), Hamilton (Award for Outstanding Producer of Televised or Streamed Motion Pictures), and The Last Dance (Award for Outstanding Producer of Non-Fiction Television). Vance Van Petten was also presented with the Charles FitzSimons Award for his contributions to the PGA.
The virtual ceremony was opened and closed by Tracee Ellis Ross. Award presenters included Carey Mulligan, Daniel Kaluuya, Gal Gadot, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Sacha Baron Cohen.
